When a child feels anxious, stuck, or begins acting out, it’s often a sign that their nervous system is dysregulated. Their brain and body are out of sync. That’s where my work begins. I take time to truly understand your child, who they are, how they learn, and what’s blocking their growth. Together, we uncover root causes and create a personalized plan to help them feel safe, calm, and ready to learn again.
As a licensed NYS teacher, Blocks-to-Flow™ Practitioner, and NeuroGrowth Learning Success Coach, I focus on cultivating the “mind soil," creating the right conditions for learning to take root and flourish. When the soil is ready, learning blooms naturally. No more shutting down. No more tantrums. Just calm, focus, and confidence.
Once the nervous system is regulated, then we begin the academics. Using neuroscience-based lessons and a wholistic approach, I make learning easier, faster, and more joyful.
Parents are guided and coached along the way, because real change happens when the whole family grows together. And this isn’t just for children, I also help teens, college students, and adults who feel stuck or overwhelmed rediscover flow, focus, and purpose.

Maria Elena Mazza
My passion lies in helping children grow and succeed. There is always something new for me to learn.
As a NYS licensed classroom teacher (Pre-K- 6) for 33 years, I hold an MA + 60 and have a certificate in Educational Computing. I completed over 80 hours of training to become an ICF-accredited, Licensed, Certified Wholistic NeuroGrowth Learning Success Coach and Blocks to Flow Nervous-System-First Practitioner. I am certified in Orton-Gillingham Multisensory Math and have extensive experience teaching Wilson/Fundations. However, up to date research brings me to what's best for learners. I am excited to be currently enrolled in Ebli's (Evidence-Based Literacy Instruction) certificate program - (K-12) Intervention.
In addition to classroom teaching, I spent 9 years as math, science, and technology coordinator.
My most valuable learning experience was working with my students. I realize there is so much more to do. I am dedicated to continuing my mission of supporting children who need extra time and personalized attention beyond the traditional classroom. As I move forward in my journey, My goal is to guide them towards success by providing the additional support they need.
